Overview

Octuo is a Mac AI assistant that brings model conversations, supported coding agents and connected tools into one workspace. It can delegate work to Claude Code, Codex and MCP tools. Separate coding-agent subscriptions are optional; connected services use your own accounts and may charge separately. Requires macOS 15+, Apple silicon or Intel, at least 8 GB RAM and an internet connection. Some features request Accessibility or Screen Recording permission. Starter costs US$20/month and renews until cancelled, with 20,000 OC monthly plus a temporary 10,000 OC launch bonus. One-time credit packs are also available. New verified accounts receive 1,000 trial OC without a card or automatic subscription conversion. Unused monthly OC, including granted promotional OC, rolls over without an expiry or cap. Cancelling or changing plans preserves existing OC; refunds remove the corresponding grant. Octuo uses cloud services. Unsent draft text syncs to its servers before sending; unsent attachments stay on the device. Requests may send relevant conversation, file and tool context to the selected provider. Its privacy policy states that production database/cache backups expire within 35 days of creation, subject to legal holds; this differs from deletion from live systems.
