Slap Alert

Overview

Slap Alert is a Mac menu-bar app with pixel-monkey sales notifications, milestone cards and a daily App Store sales summary. Your own scripts can trigger local notes. A US$19 one-time license covers your own Macs. Paid integrations have a 7-day trial; script-triggered notes remain free. The developer says provider API keys are kept in macOS Keychain and sent to the corresponding providers. Shopify and RevenueCat purchase webhooks pass through its Cloudflare relay, temporarily storing customer and transaction details; Shopify signing keys are also stored there. The optional Lemon Squeezy beta uses a key without read-only restrictions, although the developer says the app only makes read requests. In 1.6.2, confirming Post to X for a branded card uploads a finished image to a public link before X opens, even if you never post. Your chosen brand name, logo and enabled amount become public. The policy says uploads may remain for up to one year; outside caches or copies may persist longer. Local preview, copy and save stay on your Mac. Requires macOS 14+ on Intel or Apple silicon. We checked official sources and the signed/notarized 1.6.2 build 15 package, but have not run the app or tested payment connections.
